Youth classes begin August 30. Register today!

Compressed Line 300x133 Youth classes begin August 30. Register today! All Youth Division classes will begin on August 30. Although some classes have met capacity, new students are always welcome and can be entered on a waitlist. Classes may be added due to demand. Use the online registration form by clicking on the Register for Classes link. Stop by for a personal tour or contact us for more information. We’re open 12:00-7:00pm Monday-Thursday.

The next Adult Division session will begin September 20. Check out the information about Nia, Hoop Dance and Tap for the fall session by clicking the links under Adult Classes.

Next Open House August 21

If you’re still checking out classes for your youth student, now’s the time to visit us! During our Open House days you can stop in for introductions, snacks and FREE trial classes from 10am – 2pm.

Here’s the schedule:

10:30-11:00am – Youth ages 2-4 Creative Movement

11:00 – 11:30 am – Youth ages 5-6 Ballet & Tap

12:00 – 12:30pm – Youth ages 7-11 Ballet, Tap & Jazz

1:00 – 1:30pm – Youth ages 12-18 Ballet, Tap, Jazz & Hip Hop + more!

Please join us on May 16 at 1:30pm at the Historic Fargo Theatre in downtown Fargo for the 2010 Spring Recital “In the Spotlight”. Our dancers have been working hard preparing to put on a great show for you, so show your support and purchase your tickets today! Tickets are available at the studio office through May 13th! Adults $10, Youth (under 12) $6, 4 and under free. Pick yours up today! Tickets will then be available at the door at an increased rate of $2.

Dancing on TV

We’d like to comment on the variety of dance disciplines that the dancers on So You Think You Can Dance are challenged with (or any dance show on tv).

They effectively show the importance of dancers cross-training in multiple styles of dance. The more experience they can gain in dance forms outside of their specialty, the more well-rounded and versatile dancer they become. If the dancers who take part in these tv shows are truly interested in studying dance or theater it will make them a better asset to any company or show.

It also helps them to learn choreography more efficiently and improves their technical work across all varieties, not to mention what it can do for their confidence and coordination!

We love it!

Also – on a whim we are learning the Hoedown Throwdown courtesy of Hannah Montana just for fun! We’ll try to post a picture of us goofing off with that soon!
