Lyrical

Lyrical dance is a style that blends ballet and jazz dance. A lyrical dancer uses movement to express strong emotions such as love, joy or anger and frustration. Lyrical dancers usually perform to music with lyrics… the lyrics of the chosen song serve as inspiration for movements and expressions. A lyrical class is recommended for students experienced in ballet and/or jazz disciplines.

Students should be at least 12 years old to participate in Lyrical 1 and  must get permission from their instructor before advancing to Lyrical 2.
