These classes are designed specifically to introduce all styles of dance. It also is suited for students who simply want to continue their dance education in a more general format. Activities will be combined from a wide variety of dance styles and fitness training exercises to improve posture, strength, coordination and flexibility. It is a great complement for the busy student who still wants to remain a dancer!
Students interested in Recreation dance should be at least 12 years old.

Registration is closed for the current academic year running September 1, 2011 – May 18, 2012.
Summer 2012 Schedule
June 11 – July 26 (no class week of July 4)
If you are interested in Recreation, a similar Intro to Dance class will be offered Tuesday 6:30-7:15pm during the summer session
What to Wear
- Leotard
- Tights
- Shorts or Jazz Pants (nothing bulky)
- Black Jazz Slippers (lace-up or slip-on)
- Hair must be pulled back off the face
